Assignment 2-1 What is Immersive Education?

This here is Professor Walsh introducing himself. He is a Professor at Boston College. For 20 years he has been working on immersive education at BC. 

Professor Walsh said "To change our lives by changing the way we learn" by immersive education. He went on to tell us about what he believes immersive education can do for society and how it allows people to learn on a wider spectrum. 

This is an overview of what Immersive Education (IED) is and how may people can benefit and learn from it. Over the years it has become very popular and is used for many different things, such as virtual worlds, etc. 

Immersive education was used in one case for an aquarium field trip. There was a school that could not afford to take the students on a field trip to the aquarium, so in place of it they took a virtual field trip to an aquarium. The students were able to use this to learn about different species.
